It zooms but other than that an iPhone is probably better

It's got a CCD sensor, so it'll take better daylight pictures than any current smartphone, but its low-light performance sucks. The CCD also means that fast motion in video will not cause jello effects. Few people will be interested in such a camera nowadays when a smartphone or GoPro can do good enough pictures and 1080p/4K video, though, so it's near worthless on the market

No. I’ve seen a spate of cameras at the Salvation Army Family Store (thrift shop) for $5-$4 0. Everyone uses their phone now, so these are relics of a bygone era it seems.

Optical zoom was a huge benefit maybe 12-13 years ago, but phone cameras have long surpassed the image quality of all-in-one digital cameras.

I used to have a Canon PowerShot S2 IS with 12x zoom and it was tons of fun until I got an EOS DSLR.

tl;dr these offer very little functional value today.
